Group Volunteer opportunities in the Sunflower Hill Garden are open to community and corporate groups. Garden Group Volunteers will enjoy working together to improve and maintain a healthy and active growing garden, positively impacting our program participant interaction with the space as well as boosting our local donation efforts. Depending on the season, groups can look forward to engaging in any number of important gardening tasks, such as: planting, harvesting, bed building, weeding, mulching, etc. No previous experience or tools needed.
Group Volunteers include up to 10 adults, with the option for each adult to bring one minor (1:1 ratio) and work together in the garden space, distanced from others.
If your group is interested in volunteering, submit a group application below with your groups’ preferred dates, along with any additional notes. We will contact you within 48 business hours to confirm a date and gather more information to help our trained staff plan for your group visit.
