At Sunflower Hill, we proudly support our dedicated produce partners—Tri-Valley Haven, Open Heart Kitchen, Shepherd’s Gate, One Nation Dream Makers, and Culinary Angels—as they work tirelessly on the front lines of food insecurity in our region. In addition, we are committed to delivering beautiful flowers to Hope Hospice and Heritage Estates, spreading joy and comfort to those in need. We are an essential part of the “supply chain” for these incredible nonprofits, providing all produce and flowers completely free of charge.
Supervisor Haubert’s challenge will also directly benefit Sunflower Hill’s programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). Over 145 individuals visit our garden each month as part of their day programs and transition classes. Like our produce and flower donations, these programs are also offered at no cost, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to grow and thrive.
